Don’t get me wrong, I like eggs, but sometimes I feel like something lighter and I also have loads of egg-free and vegan friends. This recipe is a simple one to make, just blending and no worrying about eggs splitting or the end result failing. It’s a perfect balance of creamy, lemony, salty and tang. Continue reading

Peanut Butter Fudge Bites
Peanut butter is one of lifes most delicious flavours, and we are mad about it in this house! For this recipe I wanted something so easy to make (of course!), basic ingredients, minimal prep and minimal clean up. Tick any boxes? Continue reading
Strawberry Smoothie Bliss Balls
You’ve got to love a little sweet snack sometimes. This recipe takes 10 minutes to make, for one month of handy goodness! This is a really great recipe to get young kids involved with, you probably won’t end up with 30 balls this way, but hey at least it’s all nourishing stuff. Continue reading
Raw Lemon Slice
This slice reminds of when I was younger and one of my friends mums made this really traditional lemon slice. It had a really Aussie vibe to it – biscuit base, probably crushed Arnotts biccies, and an icing sugar lemony topping. Sweet, sour and irresistible. Lately I kept thinking about this slice and was so eager to create my own version of it. Here it is, enjoy! Continue reading
Lime & Passionfruit Panna Cotta
I think everyone knows that I love citrus desserts by now! I like to keep it super easy so this one just has 5 ingredients and will take no more than 10 minutes to make. Throw in the gut healing qualities of grass fed gelatin and you have one fantastic dessert that’s great for kids, but also great for guests and entertaining. Continue reading
Slow Cooker Pea & Ham Soup
I tell you on busy days the slow cooker is a lifesaver. Coming home to a yummy smelling house with dinner only 5 minutes away is such a relief! This recipe takes a small (and I mean small) amount of forward planning, but it is so worth the convenience and ease! Continue reading
Cauli Crust Pizza
Here is a nut free alternative to my Grain Free Pizza which I also love, just sometimes we need a little break from the nuts (everything in moderation and we don’t need to go nuts over nuts!) This pizza is light but it’s oh-so-satisfying. You can pick up a piece just like a regular crust pizza, it’s delicious and you can get really creative with your toppings too. Continue reading
Easter Jaffa Gummies
Ah Easter. A time of hardcore chocolate binging. Don’t get me wrong I like a bit of balance, but my kids eating chocolate for breakfast just doesn’t work in this house (hashtag meltdown city). I’m not a total meanie though, there are some beautiful quality chocolates out there (Loving Earth I’m looking at you). Also I created these gorgeous Jaffa Gummies that are going to help heal and nourish the gut, rather than damage. The kids will be bouncing off the walls with these, but for good reasons instead ♥ Continue reading
Best Ever Banana Bread
This really is the Best Ever Banana Bread. I had so many attempts at creating a healthy recipe that still gave us everything that’s good about banana bread – natural fruit sweetness and flavour, a bread that can slice and not crumble and of course that soft, indulgent texture. This recipe is perfection! Continue reading
Zucchini, Herb & Turkey Meatballs
One of my favourite lunchbox tips is to use some of the leftover dinner from the night before. So really this recipe can be used to make a dinner with some put aside for the next day, OR you can make a batch, cook and then portion into lots of 5 or 6 meatballs to keep in the freezer ready for lunches. Easy peasy! They are really tasty (morish actually) and have all the benefits of vegies, herbs and protein to fuel growing minds and bodies. Continue reading
